mr. Zaid Ayoub

A serial entrepreneur based in Silicon Valley, Zaid manages the investment fund (R TMZ Investments Inc.) with interests in Technology, Gaming, 3D Printing, F&B, and Real Estate.   

Currently, Zaid serves as a Board Director and Mentor for Technology startups and is actively involved with the development of the fast casual food concept – SAJJ Mediterranean www.sajjstreeteats.com. He is an advisor to JCP, Jordan Competitiveness Program – a USAID funded program in Jordan, with emphasis to build a Jordanian Professional Diaspora Network – www.connect.jo.

Zaid was a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Scientific Society in Jordan. The Royal Scientific Society (RSS) is the largest applied research institution, consultancy, and technical support service provider in Jordan and is a regional leader in the fields of science & technology.  www.rss.jo

Zaid served a 2-year term as a Board member of the Jordan Investment Boards (JIB) www.jib.goc.jo

Zaid was Program Director and is the caretaker for JTronix, the entity entrusted to build an Electronics Design Industry in Jordan through the selection, training and placement of young Jordanian talent, and partnering with advanced technology companies. www.jtronix.jo

Zaid co-founded Dimensions Consulting Inc. (DCI) in 1992 and ran it till 2007.  DCI focused on Engineering, Design and Manufacturing of High Performance Test Products for the Semiconductor Industry, including Electrical Test Boards, Mechanical Contactors / Fixtures and Thermal Control Units.  Major customers included Intel, Microsoft, IBM, Apple, NVidia, LSI Logic and AMD Semiconductor.  

DCI acquired Liberty Research, a complimentary product company in 1999.   Lead the sale of

DCI to Credence Systems, a global Automated Test Equipment maker in 2000.  And then negotiated the management buyouts in 2002 were he took DCI private again and changed DCI’s business model in 2003 by adopting a flexible manufacturing model.

DCI set up a regional design Center in Singapore to serve the South East Asia and China markets and established an electrical engineering design outsource center in Jordan.  As part of DCI – Jordan, the center was successful in lowering direct engineering cost by 50%.   The company was successfully sold to UMD Technologies in 2006 and later merged with Antares Advanced Test Technologies (part of Investorp).

Before starting DCI, Zaid worked in the Semiconductor Industry for companies like National Semiconductor (now Texas Instruments) and Best IC Labs.

Zaid received his MBA and BSEE with emphasis on Computer Architecture both from Santa Clara University.
