Connect.JO funding campaign dedicated to helping Jordanian efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic

Connect.JO is honored to lead and coordinate a funding campaign dedicated to helping Jordanian efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to our members, we brought together various Jordanian American community associations from across the U.S. for this unprecedented effort. Donations to this campaign will go directly to organizations in Jordan, helping healthcare providers and citizens alike.

- Expats in US launch fundraising campaign for Kingdom amid COVID-19 crisis

Amman, May 4 (Petra) -- A group of Jordanians in the United States have launched a campaign to support the Kingdom's effort to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
DC- Connect.JO, an online platform connecting the Jordanian diaspora, has joined hands with the Jordanian American Association of DC, along with other Jordanian-American associations across the US to raise funds for ongoing efforts in Jordan to help those in need as the Kingdom battles COVID-19.
The Jordan-American diaspora has launched a GoFundMe page to raise 100,000 USD to support Jordan during these difficult times.

Prime Minister Omar Razzaz in his speech during the Jordanian Expatriates Conference called on the participants to familiarise themselves with the "Connect.JO" network.

Razzaz has informed the participation of Connect.JO initiative that aims to “establish a strong linkage between professional Jordanians abroad, help individuals and start-ups from Jordan in accessing a foreign country’s technology business environment, support Jordanian companies in gaining access to foreign markets, and assist diaspora members in setting up their businesses in Jordan”.
