H.E. Mr. Ahmad Hanandeh

Minister of Digital Economy & Entrepreneurship

H.E. Mr. Ahmad Hanandeh has had over 27 years of experience in various industries, at companies that include Aramex and Zain. He has held various C-Level positions including CFO and CEO at Zain. He is also a board member of various organizations such as the Crown Prince Foundation and the Jordan Olympic Committee.

Since October 2020, he has been serving as the Minister of Digital Economy & Entrepreneurship with a mission to enable transformation pillars including Digital Entrepreneurship, Digital Skills, Digital Financial Services, Digital Infrastructure and Digital Platforms.

Project Management Unit Director (YTJ) - Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship

With over 20 years of experience in business development, export development of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), youth entrepreneurship, and workforce development; Mr. Bibars worked with many Jordanian entrepreneurs in various capacities to provide business development services and access to finance solutions.

He is currently the Project Management Unit Director of the YTJ Project - a $200M World Bank initiative - that aims to improve digitally enabled income opportunities and expand digitized government services in Jordan.
